2026 Marchfest FAQs for Band Families

Where can I get up to date information about the day?

We'll keep THIS site — the Marchfest website — updated with the most current information. Also, please visit and share our Facebook event page. 

What is the cost of admission?

$12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens(Age 62+), $8 for children 6-18, 5 and under is free. Performers and select volunteers will receive wristbands for entry, and should be put on prior to entering as a spectator. Tickets may be purchased in advance or the day of the event with a credit card via Ludus. Tickets can be purchased on site with cash only.

Are there going to be concessions this year?

Yes! The concession stand will be open shortly after the gates open. Pizza Ranch has joined us again this year to provide a wide assortment of hot concessions. We also are able to accept debt/credit cards for concessions. Mama Ducky's Bakery and Kona Ice will also be available. 

Is the school open for band use?

Yes, door 25 will be open to access restrooms near the auditorium in the main lobby. Students should only enter the school to use the facility then return directly to their buses until the band’s scheduled times. If a rain alternative is needed, the field house will be open for performances. Please remind your students and chaperones/volunteers to respect our volunteers and the building so that we can continue to offer this. 

When is the award ceremony and who receives awards?

The awards ceremony will take place immediately following the Blackshirt Marching Band and Senior recognition.  Drum majors and color guard captains will need to meet at the performance entry gate / East end of the field.  An announcement will be made at the conclusion of the final performance to have the drum majors and color guard captains form up at the performance entry gate. Trophies will be awarded for all in each class.  In addition, Caption Awards will be presented for combined Class A & AA and combined Class AAA & AAAA:  Best Musical Presentation, Best Visual Presentation, Best Percussion, and Best Auxiliary / Color Guard

Can we celebrate our kids with Shout Outs or Happy Ads? 

Yes! We love to help you celebrate your performers!

Shout Outs: This year, shout outs can be ordered online and paid by credit card, or with cash at the South concession tent near the main bleachers. Online order link coming soon!

Happy Ads: Happy ads can be purchased by ALL bands to celebrate your student or your favorite band section! Happy Ads appear in the printed and online programs. Orders are due September 4.  Order Online | Printable Order Form

Can I advertise my business?

Yes! We would be happy to advertise your business! Ads appear in our printed and online programs, and are mentioned by our emcee throughout the event. Orders are due September 1. Order Online | Printable Order Form

At the Event: We will do our best to answer your questions and offer reminders to keep everyone on schedule. 

• Welcome Tents: Located near the practice fields and parking, and inside the stadium near the main concession stand. 

• Lead Volunteers will be wearing brightly colored shirts and can offer you guidance.
