2025 Marchfest FAQs for Band Families

Where can I get up to date information about the day?

What is the cost of admission?

The Admission price is: $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens(Age 62+), $8 for children 6-18, 5 and under is free. Wrist bands are required for admission to the stadium for performers and select volunteers and should be put on prior to entering as a spectator. Tickets may be purchased in advance or the day of the event with a credit card via Ludus. Tickets can be purchased on site with cash only.

Are there going to be concessions this year?

The concession stand will be open shortly after the gates open. Pizza Ranch has joined us again this year to provide a wide assortment of concessions and will be cooking some wonderful products. We also are able to accept debt/credit cards for concessions. Please look for a future communication highlighting all the food offerings for 2025!

Is the school open for band use?

Yes, door 25 will be open to access restrooms near the auditorium in the main lobby. Students should only enter the school to use the facility then return directly to their buses until the band’s scheduled times. If a rain alternative is needed, the field house will be open for performances. Please remind your students and chaperones/volunteers to respect our volunteers and the building so that we can continue to offer this. 

When is the award ceremony and who receives awards?

The awards ceremony will take place immediately following the Blackshirt Marching Band and Senior recognition.  Drum majors and color guard captains will need to meet at the performance entry gate.  An announcement will be made at the conclusion of the final performance to have the drum majors and color guard captains form up at the performance entry gate. Trophies will be awarded for all in each class.  In addition, Caption Awards will be presented for combined Class A & AA and combined Class AAA & AAAA:  Best Musical Presentation, Best Visual Presentation, Best Percussion, and Best Auxiliary / Color Guard

Will you have ways to do shout outs for band kids?

Yes! We will have shout outs for sale this year at the event! You can find them at our 50/50 raffle table. This is a CASH ONLY table. We also have happy ads available for ALL bands to purchase to celebrate your band student or your favorite band section! Please see the attached form for more information.

Can I advertise my business or do a Happy Ad for my child?

We would be happy to help advertise your business in our full program that is handed out at the event here is a document on how to do that: business advertisements. We are also calling all parents to buy a  Happy Ad to celebrate your students or groups. 

Where can I ask questions or get more information?

Our Welcome Team will be based at a table near the practice fields and parking to offer guidance. We will do our best to answer your questions and offer reminders to keep everyone on schedule. We look forward to a fun night supporting our state-wide band family!
